Full Stack Software Engineer @ TRMNL4 (Part-time)
This role is for a talented tech professional passionate about building scalable systems for global startup acceleration programs. You’ll develop solutions that automate business operations, support marketing activities, and drive innovation in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
About You
Must-have skills:
- 1+ year experience with any frontend framework (React, Vue) or vanilla JS
- 1+ year experience with TypeScript
- Knowledge of SQL (any SQL-like database is fine)
- Experience with Node.js
- Basic understanding of networking, cloud providers, Linux, Docker, and Bash scripting
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and Gitflow
Nice to have:
- Experience with Svelte and shadcn
- Experience using Drizzle or Kysely
- Understanding of clean code principles (SOLID, KISS)
- Good spoken English (Upper intermediate)
- Interest in open source software (OSS)
- Experience working with LLM providers
- Smart use of AI tools to accelerate development
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain the TRMNL4 platform, used by leading startups and speakers during acceleration programs
- Contribute to internal low-code tooling, including the admin panel
- Manage and query the MySQL database, presenting data as needed
- Maintain and improve landing page development infrastructure
- Support the launch of new programs, providing technical assistance to managers
- Manage DNS and Cloudflare Workers
- Maintain analytical dashboards and ensure platform reliability
